Gîte de Frênes has been a highly successful bed & breakfast since 2019 known as Frênes B&B In 2026, we are offering something a little different: from May through September, the house will be available to rent as a holiday home, giving you the chance to relax and enjoy the area just as we do.” There are 4 bedrooms all with en-suite facilities 2 on the 1st floor & 2 on the 2nd floor all with smart television so you can relax & watch Netflix!
We are the owners Lisa & James from Kent in England, we have lived in France since 2010 renovating houses & brought up our 2 children which have now flown the nest! We live in part of the house & will be here to welcome you!

Nestled in the heart of Normandy countryside a small village called Frenes located just 250 meters the village with a perfect restaurant mainly opens for food at lunch times which offers a fantastic meal of the day (plat de jour) & is also a Bar & shop perfect for all needs. Frênes is also great for walks around the beautiful countryside.
1 hour from Caen port & the Normandy beaches, or visit the historic town of Caen. 4 hours from the eurotunnel.
1 hour 10 mintues to Mont st.Michel, Bayeux tapestry.
20 minutes from Vire & Flers town.
